THE CUSTOM JOURNEY

Simple to follow. Personal at every stage.

Measurements & fit planning

Your measurements are taken or shared carefully. Structure, ease, support and movement are planned before the final cut so the outfit is designed to sit correctly.

Crafting begins

Pattern making, cutting, construction and surface detailing begin. The design is built with attention to proportion, placement and finish rather than simply copying a reference.

Fit check & refinements

Where required, the fit is checked and adjusted. Neckline balance, length, sleeve fall, waist shape, comfort and final visual proportion are refined.

WHAT WE CHECK

A custom outfit is finished only when the details work together.

Fit alone is not enough. We look at proportion, comfort, fabric behaviour, support, surface detailing and how the complete look reads once worn.

✓
FIT & MOVEMENTComfort while sitting, walking, posing and wearing the outfit for the full event.
✓
PROPORTIONNeckline, sleeve, waist and garment length balanced to the final silhouette.
✓
FINISHINGLining, closures, seams, piping, edges and embellishment placement checked before handover.
BEFORE YOU START

A few things clients usually ask.

Can I send only a reference image?

Yes. A reference is enough to begin the conversation. We use it as direction and adapt the design to your fit, occasion and preferences.

Can you work with my saree or fabric?

Yes. If you already have a saree or fabric, the design can be planned around its colour, texture, border and overall character.

Do you copy the design exactly?

The goal is not blind replication. We interpret the inspiration and create a version that works better for you.

When should I contact DHAGA?

For occasion and bridal custom work, earlier is always better so there is enough room for consultation, crafting and fitting refinements.
